See policiesSeal Hair is a two-part sealing system designed for exceptional durability, offering superior resistance to stains, scratches, and UV exposure.
One Seal Hair kit (80 oz) provides coverage for approximately 14m² per individual coat. Since the recommended sealing process requires multiple coats, a full completed system (typically two- three coats) will effectively cover 7m² – 5m².
Seal Hair can be applied using a roller or spray.
Note: Seal Hair enhances color. If you wish to maintain the original appearance, add Prime Hair to your concrete before sealing.
Full Application Guide Can be found Knowledge Hub
Mixing Seal Hair:
Seal Hair is mixed at a ratio of 4A:1B. Make sure to thoroughly mix the Part A prior to de-canting as the matting agent will separate over time. Visual separation of the material is normal. Use a pneumatic drill and paddle mixer to mix the Part A. De-cant the required amount of Part A.
De-cant part B using a plastic syringe and add to the Part A.
Mix the A & B together thoroughly for 3-5 min. Induct 5 min.
Roller Application: Two Coats
Apply first coat using a 4mm nap roller.
Load the roller and apply using a north-south direction, use strong positive pressure to work the sealer into the surface. Spread the sealer out evenly until roller is unloaded.
Work the piece from left to right applying one thin coat. This should use roughly ½ of your diluted sealer.
Back roll once using your wet roller without reloading with sealer.
Back roll once with a dry nap roller to eliminate lines and flatten out the sealer.
Do not over apply the sealer in an effort to flood the surface. Work the sealer in tight and thin. Wait 15-30 min for solvent to flash off before applying second coat.
Note: Do not worry about uneven flashing off on the first coat. The surface will even out and melt back when the second coat is applied.
Apply second coat the roller application from above, however use slightly less pressure as prior coat. Back roll with the dry nap roller each time the wet roller is unloaded. Do not over work the sealer.
Note: Over application of this sealer will not yield good results.
Spray Application: Two Coats
Apply the first coat with a roller, following Step 1 from the ‘Roller Application’.
It is important to prime the concrete with mechanical pressure using a nap roller, while following ‘thin and tight’ method. After the first coat has flashed off you can spray the second coat using a HPLV cup gun and 1.4 tip. Adjust your PSI and fan width so that your sealer does not evaporate before reaching the surface. Once your gun is properly adjusted, spray the second coat working north to south then east to west. Do not over apply sealer, thin is what you are after.
Note: If heavy streaks or puddles occur, back roll with a dry nap roller. The final spray passes should be without any rolling.
